1. Acceptance

By using onlinetimecardcalculator.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

2. What the service is

This site provides free online calculators that convert clock-in and clock-out times into hours, apply break deductions and overtime rules, and estimate gross pay. It runs entirely in your browser. No account is required and no payment is taken.

3. The results are estimates, not advice

This is the most important term on the page, so it is not buried at the bottom.

• The calculators do not provide legal, payroll, tax, accounting or employment advice. They are arithmetic tools.
• Overtime law varies by country, state, industry, union agreement and employment classification, and it changes over time. The rules offered here — including the federal 40-hour rule and the California daily and seventh-day rules — are simplified models of complex law.
• Several factors are not modelled at all, among them non-discretionary bonuses and shift differentials that must be folded into the regular rate, meal and rest break premiums, alternative workweek schedules, exempt classifications, and every form of tax or deduction. Gross pay is not take-home pay.
• You are responsible for the figures you enter and for checking the output before relying on it.

Verify anything that matters against your employer's records, your payroll provider, the relevant labour authority, or a qualified professional. Do not use this site as your sole basis for paying staff, filing anything, or bringing a claim.

4. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We work hard on correctness and test the calculation logic thoroughly, but we do not warrant that the site is free of errors or that it will always be online.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, onlinetimecardcalculator.com and anyone involved in producing it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost wages, underpayment, overpayment, penalties, or lost data, arising from your use of or inability to use the site — even if advised such damages were possible.

Because the site is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

6. Your data

Your timecard entries are stored only in your own browser and are never transmitted to us. We therefore cannot recover, restore, or delete them for you. 7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to violate anyone's rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any related systems.
• Interfere with the site's operation, including through automated traffic that degrades service for others.
• Copy the site wholesale in order to pass it off as your own service. Using the calculators for your own work, including commercial work, is entirely fine and encouraged.

8. Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code are owned by their authors and protected by copyright. The calculations you produce are yours; the tool that produced them is not. Trademarks referenced on this site, including Google, Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively only.

9. Advertising and third-party links

The site may display third-party advertising and may link to external resources such as labour authorities and documentation. We do not control those sites or adverts and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

10. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice, and we may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
